Tiqets reviews: is it reliable for Florence tickets? Uffizi prices, cancellation

Tiqets sells Florence tickets (and much more) as a marketplace: you pay, get a smartphone voucher, enter. In Florence the catalogue is among the widest we track, but it is not the official ticket office for the Uffizi or the Accademia. For the Duomo it does appear among B2B resellers authorised by the Opera.

Quick verdict. Useful if the official slot is sold out, if you want audio/combo in one click, or if you prefer a multilingual app. You almost always pay a markup on entry-only; on the titles that matter cancellation is often closed. Worth it for late phone bookers. Not worth it if you have weeks of lead time and want the minimum: that stays on tickets.uffizi.it.

Product ratings: Uffizi+audio ★4.3 (10,619), Uffizi base ★3.7 (1,712) — a signal not to ignore.

The Florence Pass ~€92.50 (★3.9, 2,548) pairs priority Uffizi/Accademia, a Duomo piece and 10% discount. How booking works

Pick date/slot, pay, voucher in email and app (17 languages, offline). Some products are not «instant»: confirmation arrives after the partner agency reserves. Force EUR at checkout (currency auto-localises). For the Uffizi the ticket is named: name must match ID, otherwise no entry and no refund.

Cancellation and support

T&Cs: cancellation only if stated on the product page. Typical free cancellation up to 24 h where offered; a refundable add-on is often proposed. In our feed many Florence products — including Uffizi/Accademia/pass — show as non-refundable and non-reschedulable. Any refunds within 28 days of the visit. No typical separate booking fee.

Price deep-dive and product feed

In the alltours.florence.it feed we count 77 Tiqets SKUs for Florence (vs ~50 on the tiqets.com showcase). Not all are «museum tickets»: there are combos, audio, hop-on, cooking and day trips. When comparing, always isolate the entry-only line from the package. The Uffizi + audioguide product from €25 (over 10,600 product reviews, ★4.3) can look like a deal versus €29 official advance sale: remember that (1) the audioguide is not the museum’s, (2) the time slot often appears only after you choose the date, (3) the ticket is non-refundable. Reserved entry at €36 (★3.7, ~1,700 reviews) is the typical €7 markup on the public price.

At the Accademia the Tiqets list starts at €31 (entry or entry+app) against €20 + €4 on B-ticket. On the Duomo, Tiqets is among authorised B2B resellers: useful if official is sold out, but the Brunelleschi Pass «Premium» at €69 remains an awkward comparison with Opera’s €30. The Florence Pass at €92.50 should be weighed against Firenzecard €85 and against official Uffizi+Accademia+Dome (~€83): it pays off only if you really use priority, audio and in-app discounts.

When to choose Tiqets (and when not)

Choose it if: official slot sold out; you want an instant voucher in 17 languages; you need a combo with audio already in the cart; you accept losing cancellation flexibility. Avoid it if: you have two months’ lead time and bare entry is enough; you want to change the date; you want Brunelleschi at Opera price. In that case start from tickets.uffizi.it, B-ticket Accademia and tickets.duomo.firenze.it, then come back here only for the availability gap.

Alternatives and comparisons
