The Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore sells Duomo complex titles direct on tickets.duomo.firenze.it (operational address indicated: Piazza San Giovanni 7). Three official passes define the list: Brunelleschi at €30 (typically includes Dome and upper-level monuments), Giotto at €20, Ghiberti at €15. Validity in the dossier is three days from first use under Opera rules. The OperaGuide app accompanies the visit; it does not replace the entry title.

If you buy from a B2B tour operator (e.g. Walkabout, Liv Tours) or Tiqets, you are using an authorised resale channel, not the Opera site: the price may include a guide or markup. If you buy from a marketplace not on the B2B list, the risk is paying more for an equivalent product or receiving a package different from what you imagined.

Cancellation, refunds, support

Opera policy verified 22/09/2026: no refund, even in force majeure. It is one of the strictest clauses in the Florence set. Do not count on «bad weather» or «sudden closure» as an automatic refund lever: follow only Opera communications.

The Opera complex is not a single «Duomo» ticket: it is a family of passes (Brunelleschi, Giotto, Ghiberti) with different inclusions and a capacity-controlled Dome. Anyone buying the wrong pass discovers on site that Baptistery or museum are outside the title in hand. Before paying, open the inclusions page on tickets.duomo.firenze.it and compare it line by line with any OTA or tour offer. If the reseller is not on the B2B list (Tiqets, Liv Tours, Walkabout in the dossier), the markup must be explained by extra services — guide, headsets, escort — not by the word «official».

The no-refund policy even in force majeure is especially hard in a city where rain and strikes exist.
